This is weird!, like really weird..
A 35-year-old man, Bello Rabiu, has been arrested and arraigned before a senior magistrate’s court in Katsina over the killing of his new born baby girl.
He was said to have strangled the one day old baby and buried her in his compound after she was given birth to by his wife, Fatima Bello. Rabiu was infuriated that the baby he eagerly awaited turned out to be a female, against his wish. Police prosecuting officer, Hashimu Musa, told the court that Rabiu who resides in Dankwaro village of Charanchi LGA of Katsina State, committed the offence at midnight on May 4, 2015.
He said the village head of Doka, Alhaji Muhammad Shehu, reported the case at the Charanchi police station after his attention was drawn to it.
“After police investigation, he was arrested and interrogated, and later confessed committing the offence’’, he said. The judge, Nafisa Bagiwa, ordered him to be remanded in prison and adjourned the case to June 22 for continuation.

Taking paracetamols while pregnant could harm baby boys
The
popular painkiller is believed to have lifelong effects on baby boys,
raising their risk of everything from infertility to cancer.
Edinburgh University researchers said Britons have become 'blasé' about paracetamol’s potential dangers – and urged pregnant women to think twice before taking the drug. They said that if the tablets are taken, they should be used in the lowest possible dose, for the shortest possible time.
Pregnant women have been warned that prolonged use of paracetamol could harm their unborn baby boy +2
Pregnant women have been warned that prolonged use of paracetamol could harm their unborn baby boy. The Royal College of Midwives said mothers-to-be should seek medical advice before taking paracetamol at all.And the medicines’ watchdog is to carefully evaluate the research.Paracetamol is the most widely-used painkiller in the world. And as the only painkiller deemed safe in pregnancy, it is taken by most mothers-to-be.However several studies have suggested it interferes with the development of the male reproductive system while still in the womb.
This is important because it is thought that if this programming goes wrong, it has lifelong effects, putting the child at higher risk of a range of problems from genital birth defects to infertility and testicular cancer.Testosterone, which is made in the testicles, is thought to be key to the whole process, so the researchers carried out an experiment designed to show if exposure to paracetamol in the womb cuts levels of the hormone.
Taking paracetamol while pregnant 'could harm baby boys': Drug raises risk of conditions such as infertility and cancer later in life
-Prolonged use causes levels of the hormone testosterone to plummet
-This interferes with development of unborn boy's reproductive system
-Pregnant women have become 'blasé' about using the drug, experts said
-Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health advised avoiding prolonged use

Aso villa chapel bids Jonathan, wife and administration farewell.,
The Aso Villa Chapel on Sunday formally bade
President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife, Patience,
and members of their family farewell in a grand
style.
A special thanksgiving and commendation service
was held for that purpose inside the chapel built
by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s
administration.
That was the last time Jonathan and his family
would be worshipping in the chapel before
handing over power to Muhammadu Buhari on
May 29 since Sunday service will not hold there
on May 24.
An interdenominational service has been
scheduled to hold at the National Christian Centre
that day to commemorate the nation’s Democracy
Day.Colourfully-dressed chapel members, friends and
associates of the first family, as well top
government officials turned out en masse to wish
them well.
The Chapel Committee as well as the children’s
church presented gift items to Jonathan, his wife
and his mother, Eunice. The President later led his family
to dance to the altar for a special thanksgiving to express
gratitude to God for being with him in the last five
years that he has been in the saddle.
Thereafter, Mrs. Jonathan also danced forward for
a special thanksgiving to God for sparing her life
throughout their stay in the Presidential Villa,
Abuja despite falling sick a couple of years back.
The President’s Chaplain, Ven. Obioma
Onwuzurumba, in a short message titled “To God
be the Glory,” thanked God for keeping the first
family safe throughout their tenure.
